Demosnowmen are inkling

A new phase has begun in my life. In the field of poetry, I have actually managed to put down everything that is humanly possible, and I think that my work stands on its own and that it is only the decadence of the modern parasite age that is responsible for the psychopathic silence. You won’t have me with it – I’m overflowing with high energy, and so I’m going to focus on other interesting things. That doesn’t mean I will stop writing poetry, it just means I will shift my focus and create greatness in other ways.

Demosnowmen are inkling is the title of my latest work. It is for sale as a small print of 30 by 40 cm in the Saatchi Gallery. However, if you would like to support me you had better buy it directly from me, Saatchi charges a rather monumental portion of the sale price, talk about predatory constructions. That’s why the original works there are ridiculously expensive.

I put a lot of effort into this painting. I called it ‘demo’ snowmen because they represent all the snowmen we have forgotten or ignored in this life, who now came back to look at us with a somewhat sinister smile. The idea was to create a new type of iconic art that would fit modern times and also to represent in the painting all the stories that we have been suppressing, and showing them as the ancient, ancestral tribe. I can look at this work for hours without it losing its mystery, which I guess is the definition of a good artwork. I sell it as small prints here mainly, the original can be for sale but i made it ridiculously expensive so i can keep it a bit longer 🙂 I feel this is an important work, as I feel forgotten snowmen in our lives are a really strong force.

This work will also be part of my new book of poetry. It’s based on a real event – I was lost in a hallway as a 4-year-old crying, and was found in a garden, I had wantonly kicked over a big snowman, but those are two stories that don’t rhyme, the me as a pathetic victim and the me as a wanton peddler of someone else’s snowman. I decided that this theme of stories that don’t rhyme would take center stage in my new collection, which thus knew to become a kind of Valhalla for advanced conspiracy theories. Also in this work it breeds, it is an exciting work, I am satisfied with it.

Kind regards,
