Open letter to Tyka Nelson

Dear Tyka Nelson,

I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to reach out to you to share with you a poem I wrote about the death of your brother, Roger Nelson AKA Prince. His passing was a great loss to the world of music and I wanted to express my condolences through my writing.

As I was composing the poem, I couldn’t help but feel that the fentanyl genocide that your brother fell victim to was not a coincidence. It seems to me that there is an agenda at play here, one that involves using science to create drugs that are as addictive as possible. This is a horrific tactic, and I want to do whatever I can to spread the word and stand against the entities responsible for it.

I know that no words or actions can bring your brother back or ease the pain of his loss, but I hope that by speaking out against this injustice, we can warn people about the dangers of these horrible drugs and the injustice done to your wonderful brother.

The fentanyl genocide is a hidden genocide and in the poem about your brother Prince appears but
behind ‘the enormous paywall’ the media have inflicted on the common people.

There are many other wrongs that are being evoked in the book, wrongs about women in particular.
